Well hello you!

My word! In two weeks time Mr White and I will be making our way to China via some other places. 'How very exciting' I hear you say! 'I know!' I say back to you, smugly! 'Stop being so smug' I hear you say! 'Steady on' I say back to you. 'There's no need for that'.

Ramble ramble ramble. And what better way to keep you in touch with my ramblings than by writing this blog! To keep me, and therefore you, interested, I decided to have 'an angle' as they say in professional circles. 'What's your angle?' I hear you cry. Well just look at the title, what do you think it's about? I'm going to write about all the nice and not so nice stuff we're going to eat all along the Silk Road (I'll do this by country so I'm not over stretching myself). I will also add whimsical musings to keep you entertained along with photos of the culinary delights we digest (or struggle to digest) along the way and photos of our big faces devouring it all.

How very exciting! 'Let's go!' I hear you bellow. 'Not yet my friends' I say, 'We have to endure, sorry, enjoy Christmas first'. But then, on the 4th January when everyone will be feeling bloated and miserable, Mr White and I shall be boarding the Eurostar to Brussels, praying that we might have enough time before we have to catch our Frankfurt train to fit in steak and chips. It's possible in two hours isn't it? Oh god, please tell me it is...
